Lindsay Monahan
Available for Private, Group, & Semi-Private Lessons
Lindsay is a Tony Kent “native”, having trained at Tony Kent Arena before joining the coaching staff. She competed across New England and before “retiring” passed Intermediate Freestyle and Intermediate Moves in the Field. She teaches basic skills, Freestyle, Hockey skills and Moves in the Field. Lindsay is also a graduate of Bridgewater State College (2005, with honors) and has a bachelor of Science in Social Work
Renee Roos
Available for Private, Group, & Semi-Private Lessons
Renee has been coaching since 1988. She has been with Tony Kent Arena since 1992. Her disciplines include Freestyle, Moves in the Field, Hockey Skills, BasicSkills from tots to adults, Ice Dancing, and Ice Theater.She is Professional Skater’s Association Hockey Accredited, a USFS & PSA Rated Member and USFS silver medallist. She graduated from Bryant University with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Marketing
 
Briana Lackenby
Available for Private, Group, & Semi-Private Lessons.
Figure Skating Coach since 1995. Experience with Freestyle, Moves in the Field, Basic Skills, Choreography, Showcase and off-ice classes.  Gold Level Freestyle and Moves in the Field. Member of USFS, PSA and US Figure Skating Sports Medicine Society. Trained with Olympic and World Coaches Evy & Mary Scotvold.  Regional & Sectional Ranked Figure Skater. Doctor of Physical Therapy. Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Currently the Assistant Clinic Director of Cape Cod Rehabilitation Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy.
 
Tony Kent Arena offers Learn to Skate programs year round. Most of our coaches are involved in the Learn to Skate and Semi Private lessons and are also available for private lessons.Many of our members got their start in the Learn to Skate programs and many are still involved in semi-privates and group as students and assistants!

LEARN TO SKATE (group):
Offered Wednesdays from 4:50 - 5:50 and Saturdays from 11:40-12:40

This includes 30 minute group lesson and 30 minutes supervised practice.The program is USFSA Snow Plow Sam through Basic 8 curriculum and Freeskate 1-6. We also offer a parent and tot program and welcome adult skaters.Please note that beginning adult skaters who are tentative of skating with the younger people are encouraged to give it a try! Many adult skaters began their skating careers as adults in Learn to Skate programs!

SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS

Semi private is offered Mondays at 4:50 and Saturdays at 12:50 These include 15 minute lesson (2 students to one instructor), 15 minutes of stroking and 30 minutes of practice. Skaters can use  the whole ice surface.
