The Lighthouse Figure Skating Club was formed in the fall of 2005 by a group of dedicated parents and coaches who are commited to promoting all aspects of figure skating. In the short time we have been together, we have put on three shows, and have pulled off our first annual basic skills competition, on August 12, 2007! Located in South Dennis and operating out of the famous Tony Kent Arena, our primary mission is to help skaters of all levels - from beginner to expert - achieve their wide array of figure skating goals. It is also our mission to do our part in educating the public about our wonderful, exciting sport. Club benefits include: Top-notch facility and programs Experienced, skilled coaches Supportive and friendly members Off-ice training and workout area Open year-round Summer programs for all levels Events and competitions A fun place for beginners A serious place for experts Near beaches and shopping We invite all parents and skaters, to get involved and continue to make this club a success. We have meetings on the first (non-holiday) Monday of every month. These meetings are a great opportunity for board members, coaches and parents to work together to plan events for the upcoming month.
